Bagpipes & Boogieing

This weekend, Third Space had the absolute pleasure of bringing the soundtrack to Justin and Toni’s beautiful wedding at the breathtaking Omahanui Wedding Venue in Whakamarama, just outside Tauranga.

From the moment guests arrived, it was clear this was going to be a night to remember. The setting was stunning—lush green hills, a golden sunset, and the warm, welcoming vibe that only a couple like Justin and Toni could create.

The evening kicked off with their first dance, a heartfelt moment as they swayed together to “Beautiful Crazy” by Luke Combs. From there, we brought the energy up with some Stevie Wonder grooves and modern Kiwi soul from L.A.B. It didn’t take long for the dance floor to come alive!

But the true showstopper? Toni’s brother Scott stepping up to perform “You’re the Voice” by John Farnham on the bagpipes—an epic, emotional moment that brought cheers, goosebumps, and maybe a few happy tears.

It was also an absolute joy to work alongside Aimee and her fantastic team at Omahanui. The whole day ran so smoothly and was filled with genuine care and beautiful detail—we couldn’t have asked for a better crew to collaborate with.
