Benji & Devin’s Wedding at Omatua

On Saturday, 8 March, Third Space had the honour of being part of Benji and Devin’s incredible wedding at the stunning Omatua Riverside Venue, tucked just outside Napier in the beautiful Hawke’s Bay.

From the very first moment, we knew it was going to be something special. The ceremony, led by the amazing celebrant and MC Nova Starr, was heartfelt, vibrant, and full of life — just like the couple themselves. We provided the sound system for the ceremony, and Josh backed the couple’s friend Heidi on acoustic guitar in a special performance of the Laufey song “While You Were Sleeping”.

As the afternoon rolled into canapés and golden sunlight, we played some relaxed tunes while friends and family caught up, shared hugs, and soaked in the magic of the day. The bursts of colour from all the guests’ outfits made the day even more vibrant.

A standout moment? Benji and Devin’s incredibly talented friends pulling off a choir performance, including an unforgettable version of Pink Pony Club — with the entire crowd joining in! The atmosphere was full of joy. And if that wasn’t enough, Benji and Devin themselves took to the piano and sang for their guests, creating a moment that was as personal as it was powerful.

After a delicious dinner served from a food truck under the stars, it was time to hit the dancefloor. Benji and Devin absolutely lit up the floor with their first dance performance to Hot to Go, backed live by us — and it was so good, we had to play it again later in the night for a second, even more electric round!

It was one of those nights you never want to end — full of amazing people, endless energy, and moments that’ll stay with us forever.
