Lead Vocals
With 30 years in the music industry, Charlie is known for delivering high-energy performances that engage and involve the crowd.
Career highlights include being one half of the successful duo Deep Obsession, who achieved three consecutive No. 1 hits in New Zealand and garnering international success. Charlie has toured with major acts such as Hanson, Five, Vengaboys, and S Club 7.
She has spent years abroad performing through Asia, The Emirates and Papua New Guinea. Notable international performances include China Fashion Week and the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
Back home in New Zealand, Charlie has performed for The America’s Cup, Cirque Du Soleil, The Good Morning Show and served as a mentor and backing vocalist for Pop’s Ultimate Star. Other notable performances include the official opening of the Skytower, the launch of Rally New Zealand, the UK National Anthem at Fast Five Netball, and regular performances at Auckland Casino and The Variety Club.
Equally at home in the studio, Charlie has worked as a session vocalist for international artists and performed alongside legends such as Jordan Luck, Marcia Hines, Don McGlashan, Tina Cross, Tom Sharplin, Midge Marsden, Frankie Stevens, Roger Fox & John Rowles.
After a hiatus, Charlie is back and would feel privileged to be a part of your special occasion.
Band Leader & Keyboardist
Logan launched Third Space onto the Tauranga music scene in 2021 after years of playing keys in professional covers bands. He also covers acoustic guitar and backing vocal duties when required. He has a Diploma in Piano Performance from Trinity College London and creates a wide variety of sounds on his keyboard to make our covers are true to the originals. Logan draws inspiration from YouTube cover bands such as Scary Pockets, Pomplamoose, Postmodern Jukebox, HSCC and SingItLive. Logan has a strong vision for Third Space and is excited to share this with you!
Bass
Josh is a founding member of Third Space and our MC. He is a life-long muso, and after many years as a guitarist, he finally saw the light, put on his big-boy pants and graduated to bass. Josh loves laying down groves and locking in with Doug on drums to make sure everyone gets dancing and has a great night! Josh loves seeing how Third Space helps our clients turn memorable events into truly epic nights. For him, it’s all about playing music that gets people dancing and singing (in that order!). His two young daughters also think it’s cool he is in a band – although, that may not last long! And yes, before you ask, Josh does “Slappa de Bass, mon”.
Drums
Joining the band in 2023, Doug is a powerhouse behind the drum kit. Doug draws inspiration from kiwi bands L.A.B, Black Comet, Georgia Lines, six60, The Flaxxies, as well as local drummer Stan Bicknell. Self taught at high school, Doug has mastered many genres of music over the years and played with various different musicians in Waikato and the Bay of Plenty before slotting seamlessly into the Third Space line up. “Drumming is my safe place and a way to express who I am as a musician.”
Guitar and Lead Vocals
With two decades of experience in the Auckland music scene before moving to Tauranga, Joseph has established himself as the seasoned guitarist and lead male vocalist for Third Space. Between Joseph and Charlie, all styles and songs are covered and their voices blend perfectly. Combining his technical skills with his passion for classic rock, Joseph’s playing enhances Third Space’s unique and layered sound. He also doesn’t mind laying down a killer solo when required!
